Previously adopted horses who need rehoming due to personal circumstances:
Mick (QH gelding) and Little Jeffrey John (STB gelding) – can be adopted separately or together – located north of La Crosse
Both are riding horses – have not been ridden in awhile. Mick is a perfect kid’s horse – needs regular trims to stay optimally rideable. Little John is 20ish now – came to ASAP as a 3 year old and was immediately retrained to saddle. He has been hauled to South Dakota and ridden in Black Hills and has appeared in many horse fairs in MN and IA in years past. Little John is sound and healthy. 12 year old paint mare, being placed because of owner’s health reasons. Has been ridden by children.
11 year old Palomino gelding. He was recently gelded, but is gentle and shows no stallion traits. Located in Illinois
Four year old paint. Shaggy is 4 years old, and has had 30 days professional training under saddle. Stands 13.3 hands
Tanner is a big handsome solid paint appendix/quarter horse gelding. He is 17 hands tall, 16 years old, solid sorrel with a white stripe He is gentle and fun to ride, and love trails. He tends to adapt to the skill level of the rider. He is located Douglas Legacy farm.
Dyna is 17 this year. She is about 15 hands tall, and extremely stout. She was donated because the alternative was euthanasia. She has a cyst on her navicular, or was diagnosed with that six years ago. Located at the ASAP Farm
A note from his previous adopter: He has been fabulous for us! Always the first to great you when you come out. He is very smooth in his transitions and is very quick! He truly is an easy keeper, loads like a dream and is great with farriers. He is not for a timid rider. An intermediate rider would do fine with him. I think the best thing for him at this point would be to give him a refresher with a trainer.
